He enters a tournament on duelist kingdom to save the soul of his grandfather and earns the title King of Games for beating the creator of duel monsters Pegasus Maximillion and the number 1 duelist around the world Seto Kaiba

-->Seto Kaiba--> Kaiba was once an orphan whose parents died leaving him and his little brother mokuba alone. The both of them lived in a orphanage where they met Guzoburo. Seto Kaiba challanged Guzoburo to a game of chess and the two of them made a bet. If Seto was able to beat Guzoburo in a game of Chess then he would have to adopt Seto and his little brother mokuba. Seto won the game and Gozuburo had no choise but to adopt the two brothers. Kaiba then overthrew Gozuburo and became the President of Kaiba Corperations. Seto Kaiba was once the Number one duelist around the world. Being known for the only person to have the Most Powerfull Monsters in his deck the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Kaiba had three of the Blue Eyes and was searching for the fourth one. He found it in a game shop where Yu-gi's Grandfather owned the game shop. Kaiba then challenged Solomon Moto [ yu-gi's grandpa ] to a game of Duel Monsters.Solomon lost and kaiba gained the fourth Blue Eyes White Dragon. And ripped the card into pieces. His intenstions were to destroy the last Blue Eyes White Dragon so no one would be able to use it against him. But Unfourtunally Yu-gi defeated Kaiba using Exodia. Since then Seto kaiba was known for being the Second Best Duelist around the world. ever since his defeate by Yu-gi he has been trying to defeat yu-gi in a duel and once again become the Number one duelist of the world.

-->Maximillion Pegasus--> Due to the illness of his passed wife, pegasus was trying to find a way to bring back his beloved Cicilia back from the dead. Throughout his days pegasus was travling to find a way to bring back Cicilia his travles led him to Egypt, where he met a mysterious stranger named shadi, Shadi warnned pegasus not to follow him but dispite his warnings he still followed him only to learn that he was being expected, He was given an ordeal to be tested by the millenium eye and see if he was worthey of its powers, soon he had passed the test and became owner of the Millenium Eye one of the items that sealed the dark powers of the shadow realm. Pegasus is also an expert in Duel monsters since he IS the creator of the game, He was also successful in capturing the Kaiba brothers soul and Yu-gi's grandfathers soul, it is said that the more souls he traps with his millenium eye the more powerful he becomes

-->Joey Wheeler-->Joey became second place in pegasus Tournament on Duelist Island. He fought against Yu-gi and lost. Joey entered the duelist Kingdom Tournament to win the prize money for his sister's eye operation. Durring this event Joey has beaten many duelist who are more experience. Joeys most strongest card durring Pegasus Duelist Kingdom Tournament was Red Eyes Black Dragon. which he won when accepting a bet with Rex Rapter the Dino Duelist. Both wagered one card, Joey's Time Wizard and Rex's Red Eyes Black Dragon. Joey won the duel and in doing so also won Rex's most rarest card. Joeys strongest and rarest card durring kaiba;s Battle City Tournament was Jinzo, which he won by beating Esparoba. Jinzo's special Ability is to destroy all trap cards activated on the field. Joey also becomes one of the top eight finalist In Seto Kaiba's Battle City Tournament. And defeated Odeon, one of Marik's most powerful servants/followers.

-->Bakura Ryu-->Bakura is one of yu-gi's friend he met in his school. He is shy but friendly, he participates in Pegasus Duel Monsters Tournament and tries to steal yu-gis millenium Item. but failed in his attempt to. but was able to gain pegasus millenium eye. By challenging him after being defeated by yu-gi. Pegasus lost and so Bakura was able to gain the millenium eye from pegasus. Bakura Participates in Seto kaiba's Battle City Tournament he was one of the Finalist but lost to yu-gi in a duel. bakura was defeated my Yu-gi's God Card Slifer the sky dragon. bakura is a good stratigist in combining magic cards and his monsters abilities. durring Seto kaibas tournament and dueling yi-gi if bakura was able to play one more magic card yu-gi would have been defeated.

-->Mai Valentine-->when we first encounter Mai, she was a laugh-your-head-off kind of person or duelist, who was always after being number one, and herself. She always plays her mind games to phych her opponents out. She enters duelist kingdom just to win the money for her own selfish reasons. That all changed when joey wheeler beats her inn a duel, with a little help of yu-gi of course..this does'nt sit well with mai so she convinces Rex Rapter to do her dirty work for her by defeating Joey in a duel. Unfourtunally Rex Raper looses to Joey and at the same time loosed his most rarest card the Red Eyes Black Dragon to him. Mai then looses her starchips to Panic a Payer killer. Yu-gi then challenges Panic in a duel and wins Mai starchips back. mai then soon became friends with yu-gi and say's to yu-gi that she owe him eight starchips. Mai soon repays him by giving another eight starchips to yu-gi when yugi looses the duel against kaiba. Mai also helps yu-gi and the others to save kaiba when he was trapped by the Big Five in kaiba's Virtual Game Land

-->Mokuba Kaiba-->Mokuba is Kaiba's little brother. He used to get picked on a lot, but in the second season (English), he became an assistant for his brother at KaibaCorp for the Battle City tournament. There isn't much about Mokuba except that he looks up to his brother and sees no evil in him what-so-ever.
